Privacy notice
Last revised: 28 October 2026
Plain answers on what we collect when you order or write to us, who sees it, how long it stays and how to have your say.
In short
- The company responsible for your data is WHATECH MOBILE CO., LIMITED. It built this website and runs it, places its advertising and Google Ads campaigns, and sells under the BRICONOOK name.
- What you give us is used to confirm your order, deliver it, handle returns and the guarantee, and reply when you write. None of it is for sale, and there is no newsletter.
- While you browse, the Google tag is always loaded but restricted, with no cookies, unless you say yes in the cookie card; the Meta Pixel runs only if you say yes. After an order, the sale is always reported to Google and Meta, never with your name or contact details.
- You can see, correct or delete your data, or object to its use. Write to privacy@briconook.com: we answer within 30 days, free of charge.
01 Who is responsible for your data
Everything on this page is under the control of one company, WHATECH MOBILE CO., LIMITED. It built this website and runs it, places its advertising and its Google Ads campaigns and holds the accounts for them, and it buys, sells, ships, guarantees and collects payment for every product. It decides what your data is used for and how, and it is the one to write to about anything: an order, a parcel, a return or your data.

We have no data protection officer: for a business like ours the law does not require one. Requests about your data are read by a person and answered within 30 days.
02 Which rules protect you
We sell to households in the European Union, so the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679) governs how we treat your data, wherever you live among the countries we deliver to. Every right described below is yours, and you may complain to the data protection authority of your own country.
03 What we collect, why, and on what legal basis
When you place an order
Your full name, your phone number, the delivery address and country, the product and the total, the time of the order, the internet address and browser it was sent from, technical data about your device (screen size, language and time zone) used to check that the order is genuine, and the campaign labels of the link you arrived by (such as utm, gclid or fbclid), so the order is credited to the advert that brought you.
- To confirm the order by phone, deliver it, collect payment at the door and handle returns and the guarantee. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before a contract, and then the contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To keep invoices and accounting records. Legal basis: legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
- To spot and stop fake orders, such as many orders in a few minutes from one connection, or parcels that are never collected. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in sending couriers only for real orders (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
During the confirmation call
We note the outcome of the call (confirmed, changed, cancelled, not reached) and any correction you give us. If a call is recorded, you are told at the start and may decline. Legal basis: the contract.
When you write to us
Your email address, your name, your message, the order reference if you give it and any attachment, such as a photo of a product. We use it only to reply and, if it concerns an order, we file it with that order. Legal basis: your request and, for messages about an order, the contract.
When we pay a refund
The account holder's name and the IBAN, used once to send the money. Legal basis: the contract and legal obligations. We never ask for card numbers, PINs or passwords.
When you browse
Our hosting provider keeps brief technical records of page requests (internet address, time, page, browser), only to run the site and keep it secure. Legal basis: legitimate interest. Your text-size and cookie choices, and a short recap of the orders you sent, are kept in your own browser and read only by this site; they are all listed on the Cookies page.
What we do not do
We do not sell or rent out your data. We send no marketing emails or text messages. We build no profile of you, and no machine takes important decisions about you on its own. An automated check can refuse an order that looks fake: if that happens to you by mistake, write to us and a person will look at it.
No law requires you to give us your data. Without a name, a phone number and an address, though, we cannot confirm or deliver an order.
Children
The shop is for adults: you must be 18 or over to order. If you believe a child has given us their details, write to privacy@briconook.com and we will delete them.
04 Advertising, and what Google and Meta are told
WHATECH MOBILE CO., LIMITED advertises BRICONOOK on Google and on Facebook and Instagram (Meta), from advertising accounts it holds. To know which adverts work, we use the Google Ads tag and the Meta Pixel. While you browse, the Meta Pixel is switched on only if you agree in the cookie card, while the Google tag is always loaded but restricted (see below); after an order, the sale is always reported, as explained below.
If you say no, the Google tag stays restricted under Consent Mode v2: it writes no cookies and carries no advertising identifiers; Google still receives the technical details of the request, such as your internet address. The Meta Pixel is not loaded while you browse.
If you say yes, Google and Meta may set their own cookies to remember that an advert brought you here.
After an order, whatever you chose, Google and Meta are told that a sale took place, with its value, the product and the order reference. On the confirmation page the Meta Pixel is loaded and may set its cookie _fbp; our server also tells Meta directly (Conversions API), with your internet address, your browser, the Meta cookies or advert click code if present and your country, so that Meta can match the sale to the advert. We never send Google or Meta your name, your address, your phone number or your email.
Google (Google Ireland Limited) and Meta (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited) also use this data for their own purposes, under their own privacy policies (policies.google.com/privacy and facebook.com/privacy/policy), and may process it in the United States.
Legal basis: for the cookies while you browse, your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with “Cookie settings” (withdrawal applies from that moment on); for reporting a sale after an order, our legitimate interest in knowing which adverts bring orders. You can object to it by writing to privacy@briconook.com.
05 Who receives your data
- Vercel Inc., United States, the hosting provider that serves this site and receives orders. It works for us as a processor, under a written contract.
- The courier in the country the parcel is going to, which receives your name, address, phone number and the amount to collect. It is a controller in its own right for the delivery, which is why it may contact you directly.
- Service providers who work on our instructions, for the confirmation call and for technical operations. They see only what the task needs.
- Customs authorities, where a parcel crosses a border, to the extent the law requires.
- Accountants, tax authorities and our bank, when the law requires it or to send a refund.
- Courts and authorities, only if the law obliges us.
- Google and Meta, only as described in the advertising section.
We do not sell data, we do not pass it to data brokers and we do not share it with other online shops.
06 The chat assistant
The round button at the bottom right of the shop opens an automated assistant. It is a computer program, not a person. The questions you type, and its answers, are sent to our AI service provider, which processes them on our instructions only to write the reply; we do not use them to take orders, and nothing is stored in your browser. Please do not type card numbers, passwords or identity numbers in the chat. We keep a technical log (time, number of messages, errors) but not the text of the conversation. For an order or a problem, write to privacy@briconook.com or to customer service.
07 Data that leaves the European Union
Some of the recipients above may process data outside the European Economic Area: our hosting provider (Vercel Inc., United States) and Google and Meta, which may process data in the United States. These transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. The company itself, WHATECH MOBILE CO., LIMITED, is established in Hong Kong: the order details needed to confirm, deliver and support your order reach it because this is necessary to perform the contract you ask for (Article 49(1)(b) GDPR). Write to us to know which safeguard applies to a given recipient.
08 How long we keep it
- Delivered orders, invoices and refund records: 7 years, as required by the accounting rules that apply to us.
- Orders cancelled, never confirmed or not collected: 90 days from the date of the order.
- Anything you write to us: 24 months after our last reply. Messages about an order follow the period of that order.
- Bank details for a refund: deleted within 30 days of the transfer.
- Technical logs from the web server: up to 12 months.
- Your cookie choice: 12 months, in your own browser.
When a period ends, the data is deleted or made anonymous. If a complaint, a guarantee claim or a dispute is still open, we keep what is relevant until it is closed.
09 Your rights
At any time, free of charge, you may ask us to:
- tell you whether we hold data about you and give you a copy;
- correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete it when we no longer need it or when you withdraw consent;
- restrict its use while a question about it is settled;
- give it to you in a file you can take to another company;
- stop processing based on our legitimate interests;
- withdraw a consent, including your cookie choice;
- have a person review a decision taken automatically.
Write to privacy@briconook.com. To protect you, we may ask for your order reference and the phone number used for the order. We answer within 30 days; if a request is complex we may need up to two more months, and we tell you so within the first 30 days.
10 Complaints
Give us the first go at fixing it: write to privacy@briconook.com. That is a request, not a condition. You may complain at any time to the data protection authority of the country where you live or work, or where you believe the problem arose, and you may go to court.
11 Security, and changes to this notice
The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Order details are available only to the staff who handle them, through personal logins. No system is perfectly safe: if a breach ever put you at risk, we would tell you and the authority, as the law requires.
Every revision of this notice moves the date at the top. If a change affects data we already hold in a way you would not expect, we write to you about it.
